Responsibilities
Controlling and technical compliance
Oversee group accounting activities for holding company and subsidiaries located in multiple countries
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting)
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Implement internal controls actions to anticipate and manage risks
Manage group audits, consolidation, corporate reporting in an IFRS compliant environment, and auditors relationship
Manage tax compliance at Group level
Treasury management
Manage treasury function including multi-currency exposure in multiple countries
Cost control
Spearhead and manage finance projects aimed to improve efficiency of cost control processes
Corporate finance
Support corporate finance activities including due diligence, share capital table maintenance, business expansion, etc
Manage and sustain investor relations including preparation of required reporting
Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or Master in Accounting / Finance / Business and/or related fields
Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
Around 10 years of relevant experience
At least 3 years audit experience, preferably from Big Four accounting firms
Solid technical competency in accounting and tax compliance for the South East Asia region
Experience in dealing with corporate finance matters
Experience in the use of NetSuite and/or BlackLine is a plus
Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams through effective teamwork and developing team members
High attention to detail and demonstrates strong business and technical acumen
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on personality who works autonomously with a lean and flat structure in dynamic organisation
