Job Description :Job Purpose .Reporting directly to the Head of GT-DI and responsible for leading the Data Technology Delivery(DTD) team, including external vendors, to deliver data warehouse solutions and ensuringalignment with the business's objectivesDrive the DTD team and responsible for designing and developing the architecture and solutionsrequired for enabling effective leverage of internal & external data for bank-wide. Execution of thedata strategy initiatives to address the data driven requirements in the bankLeading and managing production support of numerous applications such as Banking DataWarehouse (BDW), Enterprise Information System (EIS), Data Quality and numerous ofdownstream applicationsKey Responsibilities .Planning and StrategyInteract with business stakeholders to understand business strategy, scenarios, gaps, issues and needs to create relevant strategies and solutions that lead to business outcomesTo ensure that the strategic and business objectives are put into practiceTo leverage on technology as the key enabler for both organisational improvement and service transformationManage the prioritization, scope, budget and headcounts for the portfolioDevelops and spearheads the execution of strategies and business plans to ensure the Data Technology Delivery members work towards the common goals.Keeps abreast of the data technology landscape in order to be able to take actions to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate operational challengesPeople ManagementManage a development team in the identification of business requirements, functional design, data mapping process, development, testing, training, and operationalization of supportEnsuring all staff have the resources and skills needed to support all work initiativesIdentifies, allocates and organises resource requirements, including people development requirementsCommunicate and document project status to business owners and relevant stakeholder on a regular basis (PWC, PSC, OSC)Business Performance and ManagementCollaborate with business users to draw out business needs and implement solutionsAnalyse IT operational data to identify actionable improvements across applicationsAddress any business application issues and systems enhancements change requests for applicationsPresent reports defining plans, problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management on a scheduled basisQuality ManagementManage end-to-end delivery (in-house development) to ensure delivered changes are in line with business objectives within schedule, budget, Quality and meeting SLA agreed withstakeholdersDeveloping and maintaining system improvements, monitoring system utilisation and capacity review in conjunction with the infrastructure teamCollaborating with leadership to establish measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organisational goalsTo identify new technologies for system improvement and cost management initiativesTo ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, IT-Security and good project management practicesJob Specification .Qualifications (Basic Degree/Diploma etc)Bachelor degree or higher in a related fieldProfessional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements Relevant Work Experience Solid knowledge of data warehouse principles and techniquesStrong managerial experience in managing a team with both technical and business-focused membersExperience in supervising and building relationships with people at all levels requiredRequired Competencies and Skills .Competencies/Skills(Essential to succeed in this job)Technical/Functional skillsExperience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing architecture, with experience across data integration and datadelivery/reportingExtensive knowledge of database technologies (DB2, SQL Server,Oracle) and data modeling toolsExtensive expertise in data modeling, both logical and physicalPersonal skills (Soft Competencies (Core/Leadership))Strong presentation and influencing skills, required in guiding and assisting teams in putting forward proposals for clients, whenever necessaryCoordination and communication skills to work with other IT groups and business partners to ensure the alignment of planned objectives and activitiesBuilds strong culture of excellent service and growth opportunities for CIMB Group to attract and retain top talents
