Handyman

Conduct daily inspection ('walk thru' floor by floor), record defects such as faulty lamps, plumbing leaks, rubbish & debris, etc. and arrange for same to be rectified or attended to personally.- Perform periodic check, record and report on the condition of all electrical equipment, components and pump motors.- Attend to minor repairs highlighted by Residents in respect of common area facilities.- Attend, replace, change and modify faulty minor electrical components and light fittings in the common area.- Upkeep, maintain and restore minor defects e.g. masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing or carpentry work. Major defects shall be referred and carried out by appointed independent contractors after the necessary approvals from Manager had been obtained.- To do visual inspection on:i. lift panel buttons, car door, lighting, exhaust fan, condition of liftii. domestic & fire-fighting pumps, water tankiii. all utilities rooms door condition- Maintain a proper log book for all repairs and replacements carried out including proper record of stocks- Assist Building Manager/Executive in supervising the existing maintenance contracts for the property, report on contractors' performance and provide feedback on renewal of contracts- Assist Building Manager/ Executive in ensuring that the Renovation Policy & Guidelines are complied with strictly by close supervision- Maintain good PR with Residents- Any other duties as may be directed or assigned from time to time.**Requirements**:- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.- Strong communication skills with property management and tenants.- Able to speak and write - English, Bahasa Malaysia.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractPay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Parental leaveSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Weekend jobsExpected Start Date: 06/01/2024
