Our client Our client is a leading global tech hub and a market leader in their own specialization. In line with their current expansion, they are keen to bring on board a highly talented Head of Data Lake to lead their global team of data engineers. The Role As the Head of Data Lake, you will be part of the Information Management Leadership Team and own their Data Engineering and Data Lake Environment globally. You lead a global team of Data Engineers and together with your peers, actively contribute to the continuous development of the company's Information Management approach. You will be responsible to operate the Data Access Platform on Azure and Data Lake on AWS, including all integration and data engineering solutions. You actively contribute to the definition and development of solution and data architecture, as well as to the development of the necessary governance policies and technologies. The Successful Applicant Degree in Information Technology or similar, with minimum 10 years working experience. Experience in Data Engineering, Business Analytics or related fields. Experience in developing and managing global teams; passion for people management. Experience in Project Management, Agile working, Strategy development, Networking & Stakeholder Management.
