SCOPE OF WORKS : Ensure and monitor the safety and health of employees according to the Occupational Health Safety Act 1994 (OSHA) and Facts & Machinery Act 1967 (FMA). Main Tasks - To Advise the employer for any related with Safety & Health Occupational matters. - To Perform workplace inspections - Investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or accupational disease - Assist the employer or the safety and health committee - To become secretary to the safety and health committee. - To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work. - To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on any accident. - To assist any officer in carrying made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work. Daily Tasks - Perform workplace inspections to ensure that workers' safety and health are monitored. - Accept and report any accident related to occupational safety & health by completing JKKP Form 6, JKKP 7 and JKKP 8. - Provide Safety Briefing to all visitors who will enter the Production area. - Ensure that all visitors need to enter the production area using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Prepare Permit To Work (PTW) forms for all activities involving external contractors such as welding, cleaning services, renovation of buildings and so on. - Creating a Company Safety Policy. Weekly Tasks - Identify hazards, assess risks and recommend control measures. - Ensure that suppliers who supply chemicals attach Helaian Data Keselamatan (SDS). Monthly Tasks - Prepare Monthly Safety Health Officer Report and submit to Supreme Management. - Monitor Scheduled Waste collection and disposal to a third party. - Establishing public relations with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA), Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (JPAM), Department of Environment (DOE) and the government departments that through sports or other events. - Take action on any Notice of Improvement (NOI) by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) or any third party audit reports either FHB or SIRIM's Occupational Health Safety Division (BKKP). Quarterly Tasks - Distribute the Health Safety and Environment Committee (HSEC) meeting notice to all Members. - Taking minutes of meetings of the Health Safety and Environment Committee (HSEC). - Distribute the minutes of meetings to the members of the Health Safety Environment (HSEC)Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
