Housekeeping Assistant (Room Maid)

1. To follow hotel policy in regards to cleanliness of guestrooms2. In cleaning rooms, to follow up directions and procedures according to what she has been taught in her training programmed.**3. To follow directions of Floor Supervisor as to**:- Personal cleanliness- Daily Room report about:- Damage or articles missing- Changes in room equipment- Lighting fixtures or switches out of order- Plumbing fixtures, leaks or out of order- The presence of unauthorized birds or animals- Suspicious or unusual guest conduct.- Guest illness- Rooms which the maid is unable to enter- "Do Not Disturb" or "Double Locked"- The presence of animal- Found articles to the Housekeeping Office4. To clean rooms on whatever floors or room assigned to her by supervisor5. To take care of equipment linen and supplies and to use them as directed by supervisor6. Must be pleasant with a pleasing personality and a desire to serve the guest7. To check and replenish Minibar daily8. To perform all other duties as may be directed from time to time9. To cleaning and release room as standards given10. Daily cleaning of floor service area and pantry11. Daily restocking of Minibar items in occupied and checkout rooms12. Charging of minibar items13. Service to the guest and follow up on all guest requests. Special attention to VIP's, Long Staying and Sick Guest14. Completing of floor status sheet and reporting to Floor Supervisor of any discrepancies on room status15. Removal of room service trays and tables from the floor corridor to the service area when necessary16. Attending to flowers in the room17. Placing of rollaway beds and baby cots in the rooms18. Night Turndown service in VIP rooms19.
