**VACANCY: INTERN**SEDAR Institute is a political and public policy think tank with the aim to promote a solid foundation of a democratic, egalitarian, liberal, and progressive Malaysia.As a growing think tank, we are looking to expand. We are seeking a research intern with:1. Strong interest in local politics2. Academic background in political science, international relations, public policy, and similar fields**As an intern with SEDAR Institute, you will**:- Shadow and assist researchers of the Institute in political and public policy research, and act as supporting staff representing SEDAR Institute at client and government meetings and workshops.- Assist researchers in think tank activities, such as podcasts, book editing, and academic fora.- Supporting and coordinating the Institute's research and advisory, stakeholder management, and team development activities.- Carrying out desk and primary research on a wide variety of political and policy issues, as well as other topics as directed.- Drafting and preparing analytical reports, meeting notes, memos.- Contributing to the growth of the office and the firm as a whole.**Job Type**: InternshipContract length: 3 months**Salary**: RM800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Expected Start Date: 10/02/2023
