This is a remote opportunity, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President managing the buyer program, with the opportunity to shape a growing division of the company. This role will focus on Asia but you will research and work with companies globally.
You should be familiar with online research tools and methods. You should know your way around a spreadsheet but not be bound by it—it's about the story and the opportunity created by technology and the people behind it. You should be intellectually curious and enjoy working with the smartest people in the world. You want to help build something new with a tight-knit, global team that's the best at what they do.
Responsibilities will include:
Researching a high volume of technology companies Assessing those companies for criteria fit and synergy with clients Interfacing with clients, potential clients, acquisition candidates and internal senior sellside dealmakers by phone, email, video call etc. Presenting potential sellers to potential buyers Working with Corum's marketing team to leverage Corum media properties to best support buyside activities Participating in buyside & sellside client launch meetings Scheduling introductory calls between clients and potential targets Maintaining and improving internal taxonomy and company data Requirements:
Fluency in English Knowledge of the technology and/or financial services industry Familiarity with software company metrics and business models Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment High level of professionalism, confidentiality and judgment Ability to work flexible hours, interfacing with both companies and colleagues in Asia as well the US-based HQ Strong organizational, project management, interpersonal and relationship-building skills Friendly, positive, can-do attitude who thinks outside the box, is creative and goes the extra mile to drive initiatives Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience (Software, Private Equity, VC, etc.) About Corum:
