Internship - Accounting (March 2024)

Looking for Interns for **March 2024 Intake.****Responsibilities**:- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.- Support the reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and adjustments.- Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.- Assist in the maintenance of accurate and organized financial records and documentation.- Contribute to the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.- Support the audit process by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices.**Qualifications**:- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.- Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus.- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a bonus.Expected Start Date: 01/01/2024**Job Types**: Full-time, InternshipContract length: 6 months**Salary**: RM1,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftAbility to Commute:- Petaling Jaya (required)Expected Start Date: 03/03/2024
