Internship - Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.- Portion food accordingly and store them in assigned containers and areas to keep them fresh.- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations.- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies.- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sweeping/mopping floors.- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate meal service.- Demonstrate initiative by actively seeking out additional tasks and taking on new challenges.- Work effectively as part of a team, contributing ideas and supporting fellow team members.- Take direction from the head chef and other senior kitchen staff.- Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned.**Requirements**:- Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5- Passion for food and cooking.- Possess food handler certificate (preferred, but not required)- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a positive attitude.- Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.- Enjoy interacting with people.**Job Types**: Internship, Student jobContract length: 4 - 6 monthsPay: RM400.00 - RM1,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Meal providedSchedule:- Rotational shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)**Location**:- Kuala Lumpur (preferred)
