Internship-Purchasing Assistant

Handling purchase for all the mechanical parts such as machining fabrication parts, sheet metal fabrication parts, fasteners parts, etc.I. Issue purchase orders to suppliers based on purchase requests or order requests.II. Follow up on delivery date and make sure of on-time delivery from the supplier.III. Sourcing for suppliers when needed.IV. Negotiate price and delivery lead time with the suppliers.V. Inform the supplier about the shortage and quality issues. Follow-up replacement for shortage and quality issues.VI. Provide costing when having RFQ from the Director (Mr. Chen).VII. Writing weekly reports and submit to Manager.VIII. Update Quality objective and KPI.IX. Filing Purchase Request and Purchase Order once completed.X. Key in the purchase Invoice.
