Internship- Purchasing/ Procurement Department

Sourcing and buying of new related products to maximize sales and maintain optimal inventory- Liaise with suppliers on promotional activities and prompt delivery of stocks.- Negotiate with vendors regarding terms, conditions and margins to create competitive edge- Analyze performance of stock and promotions to determine effectiveness of the product assortment and promotion strategy to drive market share- Work closely with Sales & Marketing Department, assist to plan promotional activities merchandise according to line master plans- Work closely with the stores and vendors on all replenishment activities, product range, promotions mechanics, pricing, and aging stocks- To conduct market survey & visit competitors constantly for current market trend analysis and customer preferences**Requirements**:- Can commit internship for at least 3 months- Currently pursuing diploma /degree in any discipline- Self-motivated, a team player with a positive working attitude- Keen interest in retail and enjoy meeting people**Job Type**: InternshipContract length: 3-6 months**Salary**: RM800.00 - RM900.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Cheras: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)**Language**:- Mandarin (preferred)- Bahasa (preferred)
