Job DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION: Work under the Airline Tech team delivering successful outcomes for IT projects and report to the Head of Program Management under the PMO officeThis role will collaborate with assigned teams, stakeholders and sponsors across the organizationThe Program Manager is accountable for aspects of successful project deliveries of his/her program including managing scope, schedule, risks, issues, budget as well as project communication, documentation, reporting and stakeholder management. . You must be a decisive, flexible and resourceful leader as well as an outstanding team builder.You must possess an unwavering commitment to quality, accountability and be a champion of continuous improvement. Partners with cross functional internal stakeholders to ensure all deliverables and milestones are met, providing program governance and owning the program schedule and forecast. Communicates and presents effectively to all levels of external and/or internal leadership, including strong executive presence. Responsible for quality standards and consistency in program methodology. Provides feedback based on stakeholder experiences to internal teams for product and process improvements. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary responsibility for day to day management of his/her program delivery including program communication, risk migration and reporting.Leads cross functional program teams to ensure all deliverables and milestones are met on programs, owns the program schedule and forecast. Program complexity can vary based on several factors such as size, scope, number of geographies, variables or dynamics of customer and/or program.Responsible for working with internal and/or external stakeholders to set resources expectations and program success criteria. Accountable for stakeholder sign off on key program deliverables.Provides program governance (scope control, risk and issue management, change control, escalation management).Leads program cadence calls, may include executive steering committees.Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of program status and progress. May provide client relationship management throughout the program delivery, Formal presentation of program status. Establish and regularly review key team metrics including resourcing, and performance trends planning cadenceResponsible for managing a team to support the program of work. WHO YOU ARE: Excellent in MS project8+ years of related experience in Project Management and 2-4 years in program management to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role. Project Management certification is required (Prince2, PMP, PSM)Experienced in managing a team of project managers managing medium to large projectsAbility to communicate and present effectively to all levels of external and/or internal leadership, including strong executive presence. Proven ability to manage in demanding environments, including strong C-level persuasion skill.Ability to plan effectively in a rapidly changing environment to quickly identify the critical path and appropriately manage challenging situations real time. Experience in managing through project resets due to change in scope or unforeseen challenges.Strategically builds working relationships and networks across all the internal and/or external functions and helps remove barriers to team productivity and success to ensure smooth delivery in a challenging environmentA solid discipline of risk and issue managementExperience in all phases of project lifecycle, interfacing both with technical teams and business users spanning multiple geographiesExperience in using project management methodology (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) effectivelyExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsThis role will cover the APAC region.
