Job PurposeIT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Specialist is responsible to ensure that AXA IT services can continue to operate in the event of a disruptive incident. This involves developing and maintaining IT service continuity plans, conducting risk assessments, implementing measures to minimize the impact of potential disruptions, and coordinating recovery efforts in the event of an incident. The specialist also plays a key role in testing and exercising continuity plans to ensure their effectiveness with a collaboration with the AXA entities' Operational Resilience/ITSCM officers.This position will also work on extending the service to provide 24/7 support to the client in the region for disaster recovery and IT service continuity activities when necessary (planned tests/unplanned disasters).ResponsibilitiesBusiness impact analysis (BIA): Work closely with the respective entities' ITSCM/Operational Resilience officers and define RTOs and RPOs for critical IT services supported by AXA Group Operations, which inform the acceptable downtime and data loss limits for each service and obtain consensus accordingly.Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain IT service continuity plans, obtain sign-off from the key stakeholders, and ensure the availability of critical IT services in the event of a disruptive incident.Planning, Testing and Validation: Initiate planning discussion, conduct regular testing, validation, and exercises of continuity plans with the help of AXA relevant teams (Technical, security, entities etc.), to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential risks to IT services and developing collective strategies with the help of AXA relevant teams (Technical, security, entities etc.) to mitigate these risks.Stakeholder Communication and Management: Engage with AXA Partners/Stakeholders to communicate IT service continuity objectives, requirements, and progress.Compliance and Governance: Ensure that IT service continuity activities align and comply with AXA Group Operations Central ITSCM's Self-Assessment controls, regulatory requirements, and AXA Group organizational policies.Regular connect and Awareness: Have regular connect with the respective AXA Asia Operational Resilience/ITSCM officers to align on the IT service continuity best practices and procedures deriving from Central ITSCM team.Incident Response and Recovery: Coordinate and lead the response and recovery efforts in the event of an IT service disruption or disaster with the help of AXA Crisis management and Major incident management when necessary, including implementing recovery plans and procedures.AXA Global transformation: Assist in the transformation of ITSCM/DR requirements from existing CoreIT (On-Prem) to Cloud(AWS/Azure) platform.Your ProfileRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IT service continuity management or related field. Plus-points(if have): Advanced degrees or professionalCertifications in IT service continuity management, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).At least 5 years of relevant working experiences and proven track record in IT service continuity management, disaster recovery, risk management, or related fields is highly valued.Proficiency in IT infrastructure, systems (Linux, Windows, SRM, IBM AS400), and applications is important, along with knowledge of disaster recovery technologies and methodologies. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices, such as ISO 22301 or ITIL, is also beneficial.Possess understanding of Cloud Service Providers: Familiarity with major cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and their respective DR capabilities and offerings.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for assessing risks and developing continuity plans. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills are also important for engaging with business units and external partners. Experience conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments.Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with senior management in both Asia and overseas offices, internally and externally.Proven ability to understand operational risks inherent or emerging in a business area, to assess the risk level, develop and execute plans to mitigate the risk.Sound knowledge of operational risk management frameworks / methodologies / policies and/or practices.Excellent command in both written and spoken English.About AXAAs a world-leading insurance company, we act for human progress by protecting what matters.
