Junior Software Developer

Qualified candidate works in a team of developers, delivering “robots” based on business requirements. The responsibility covers three major themes: 1. initial business analysis - gathering and understanding the requirements, 2. developing and testing the robot, 3. technical support on the operational robots. Required Skills:-Familiar with programming in .Net(C#) / Java / Python or others (e.g. HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript (AngularJS), XML, SOAP, REST, CSS, HTTP, Jelly).-Familiar with databases e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.-Familiar with SDLC process, or knowledge in Agile methodology and DevOps practices.-Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bot-building (Automation Anywhere, UIPAth, BluePrism, PegaSystem) or ServiceNow is an added advantage. -Ability to read and write in mandarin is an added advantage.-Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.-Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in IT field.-For fresh graduate, must have completed multiple programming and database management coursework.Desired Attributes:-The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.-Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.-Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.-The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.-An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.-An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.-A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.
