Kitchen Assist

**Job Summary**:The Kitchen Assistant will support our kitchen staff with the preparation of food items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth operational flow. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards our customers expect from our cafe.**Responsibilities**:- Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the head chef or other kitchen staff.- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and ensuring all kitchen areas are properly stocked and organized.- Handle basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and preparing simple dishes.- Assist with stock rotation and ensure that food supplies are stored correctly and used within the expiry date.- Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen.- Help to unload food supplies from delivery trucks and organize them in the storage areas.- Provide support to the front of house team when necessary, such as during peak times or staff shortages.**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, InternshipContract length: 12 monthsPay: RM1,081.87 - RM2,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 54 per week**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Fixed shift- Holidays- Monday to Friday- On call- Weekend jobs
