You are required to perform these job functions:- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and instructions.- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops under supervision.- Ensure that food items are cooked, plated, and presented according to established standards for taste, appearance, and portion size.- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and sanitizing food preparation surfaces.- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination, foodborne illnesses, and accidents.- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking ingredients, and notifying supervisors of shortages or discrepancies.- Collaborate with team members to coordinate food orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely service to guests.- Adhere to all food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and company policies and procedures.- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or management to support the overall operation of the FnB outlet.Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Night shift- Weekend jobsSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonus**Education**:- STM/STPM (required)**Experience**:- Kitchen Staff: 1 year (preferred)
