Kitchen Helper / Commis

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist kitchen staff in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring- Follow recipes and cooking techniques as instructed by the chef or kitchen supervisor- Help with the cooking process, such as stirring, frying, or baking, as directed- Clean and sanitize cooking utensils, work areas, and equipment after each use- Assist in the stocking and rotation of food and supplies in the kitchen and storage areas- Receive and unpack deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality- Dispose of waste and garbage properly, following designated procedures- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that customer orders are prepared and served in a timely manner- Report any kitchen equipment issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment throughout the shift**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Meal allowance- Professional developmentSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)**Experience**:- Kitchen Staff: 1 year (preferred)
