Kitchen Helper

Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients, under the guidance of kitchen staff.- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace.- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of food items according to established recipes and quality standards.- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food and waste.- Support inventory management by assisting with the receiving, storing, and rotation of stock.- Assist during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as directed by supervisors or chefs.- Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly, in accordance with environmental guidelines.- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced kitchen environment.- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance skills and knowledge.- Perform any other duties assigned by kitchen management to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,300.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Yearly bonus**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)**Experience**:- Kitchen Staff: 1 year (required)
