We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Helper. The Kitchen Helper will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and contribute to the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences to our customers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food and hospitality to gain valuable experience in a dynamic kitchen environment.**Responsibilities**:- **Food Preparation**: Assist in food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.- **Stock Management**: Assist in receiving, organizing, and rotating food and supplies deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager.- **Cleaning and Sanitization**: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas. Follow proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.- **Dishwashing**: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure that all items are washed, rinsed, and sanitized according to food safety guidelines.- **Assistance During Service**: Support kitchen staff during busy service periods by restocking ingredients, retrieving and delivering items to the cooking stations, and assisting with plating and garnishing dishes.- **Trash Removal**: Collect and dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in designated bins or dumpsters. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in trash disposal areas.- **Compliance**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage guidelines. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.- **Assist in Special Projects**: Assist the chef or kitchen manager in special projects, menu development, or event preparation as needed.**Requirements**:- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in a fast-paced environment.- **Team Player**: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
