Kitchen Steward

Job Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or preparing garnishes- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with established procedures- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of supplies- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation- Respond to customer inquiries or requests in a professional and friendly manner**Requirements**:- Attention to detail and efficiency in dishwashing and cleaning tasks- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects- Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety practices- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays- Prior experience as a Steward or in a similar role is an added advantage.**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM1,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payApplication Question(s):- When are you able to report duty?
