Lab Assistant

**Duties**:- Perform laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using work instruction (WI) and analytical methods.- Conduct laboratory testing such as total solid content (TSC), pH, viscosity, density, and prepare samples for testing.- Record test results accurately and promptly and communicate any deviations or nonconformities to appropriate personnel for investigation and resolution.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory tests, analyses, and inspection results in electronic databases or paper-based logbooks.- Assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions related to laboratory testing and quality control activities.- Undertake basic administrative tasks such as filing and labelling of samples and keep the samples at sample room.- Maintain a complete test reports and communicate the project status to the superior.- Able to highlight problem arise during quality testing.- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with handling hazardous materials and operating laboratory equipment.- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lab, ensuring that all the equipment maintains in good condition and proper manner.- Shall take additional responsibility**Working conditions**:- Based in Klebang Ipoh, Perak- Working Days: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm), Saturday (8:00am - 1:00pm)- Lunch Time: 12.30 pm - 1.30 pm**Requirements**:- Prior experience working in a laboratory setting is desirable- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work both efficiently and independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in basic computer skills- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling chemicals- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment- Male is preferred**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonus**Experience**:- laboratory management: 1 year (preferred)
