Laboratory Helper

Prepare samples for analysis, which may include crushing, grinding and sieving materials.- Carrying out basic tests and experiments on mineral samples and recording the results.- Maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, including cleaning and calibration.- Ordering and organising materials and supplies needed for laboratory operations.- Keeping accurate records of samples, tests and experiments- Assisting with data entry and analysis using computer software programmes- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment**Requirements**:- High school diploma/SPM, with some background in chemistry or a related field preferred.- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.- Attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with data entry and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.- Some previous experience in a laboratory setting or a similar role is a plus, but not always require.**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month**Education**:- STM/STPM (required)Ability to Commute:- Sandakan (required)Ability to Relocate:- Sandakan: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
