Responsibilities We are looking for a Legal Advisor in our Legal Department, who can help us in respect of day to day functions relating to legal duties to support the the company's business particularly related to fund management, unit trusts and its private retirement scheme.
Job Responsibilities:
Drafting, vetting and review of agreements for the Company including deeds and other related documents for funds launched by the Company and investment management activities. Legal & advisory services relating to internal & external queries . Liaise with external parties which includes lawyers, trustees, auditors, Company Secretary, Shariah Adviser and other relevant parties to ensure agreements are drafted and fairly negotiated in the interest of the companies. Attend to queries from respective business/support units on legal and advisory matters, including legal responses to client complaints/queries, where applicable. Prepare necessary legal reports and provide legal support for special projects as assigned by the Head of Legal. Qualifications Possesses a recognized degree in Law Minimum 8 to 10 years of related working experience , preferably law firm and in-house experience. Corporate experience with exposure to capital markets transactions/documents with litigation background is a plus. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Diligent, efficient and able to work independently. Responsible, mature, good analytical skills with strong commitment to deliver with tight deadlines and able to multi task.
