Legal Counsel

Business Area: Others- Employment type: Full-time**Responsibilities**:- Provide legal advice and support related to the business, in particular to procurement and R&D.- Draft, review and negotiate new contracts, eg. Non-disclosure agreements, direct and in indirect procurement agreements, consultancy agreements, supply agreements.- Resolve issues and handle disputes, including first-hand advice, collaboration and governance of external legal counsels.- Develop and maintain agreement templates in collaboration with relevant stakeholders from the business.- Provide support to projects and initiatives.- Provide ad hoc advice on varios legal matters, such as safety, HR and data privacy.- Develop training material and conduct training of stakeholders from the business.- Provide support to the business in relation to existing agreements (updates, prolongations, termination etc).**Requirements**:- Master degree within law.- Min 5 years of experience with legal counselling from law firm or as in-house legal counsel.- Fluent in English (orally and in writing).- High integrity and strong interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Analytical skills and able to handle complex business structures and advanced legal issues in a pragmatic, proactive and solution-oriented manner.- Working in office in Penang.**About Ambu**:Ambu has been bringing the solutions of the future to life since 1937.
