**A Snapshot of Your Day**We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding lawyer to join our Asia team in Kuala Lumpur and become a key member of the international Legal & Compliance community at Siemens Energy.**How You'll Make an Impact**- Handle all legal matters/risks and contracts of Malaysia and other APAC countries (except tax issues) with a special focus on project business and claim management.- Take initiative and contribute proactively to master business challenges by thinking entrepreneurial (balancing governance and business needs).- Be the trusted advisor of regional and local management and the Business Areas on legal aspects.- Maintain and further improve best in class Legal department.- Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and "speak up".- Collaborate closely with global Legal community.**What You Bring**- A proven track record of managing successfully legal risks in complex environments and of being a trusted advisor to management.- Deep knowledge of commercial and contract law and international contract practice.- Broad understanding of different business models, go to market approaches and business processes.- Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.- A passion to enable business transactions and to inspire change.- Capability to manage multiple stakeholders.- Excellent communication skills coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence.- Excellent language skills in verbal and written English.- Minimum 7 years PQE- Have a winning attitude/fosters a winning spirit- Take personal responsibility for solving problems with high level of integrity.- Do not hesitate to speak-up and challenge the status quo/drive new approaches.- Drive people development and high levels of engagement in an environment of trust and partnership.**W**ho is Siemens Energy?**At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
