Machinist

**Job purpose**This position shall assist the production supervisor to produce machined parts per the Manufacturing Process Instruction (Process Sheet) by setting up and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine based on the customer's requirement.**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**- Operating CNC machine according to Standard Operating Procedure- Fabricating part(s) process with CNC machine as per program sheet- Loading and unloading material/program from the machine- Meeting product quality standard- Performing minor adjustment on machine pertaining to quality issue and fast response- Performing scheduled maintenance for machine- Achieving daily output goals set by Supervisor- Maintaining good housekeeping practice at workplace and surrounding area- Carrying out any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time**Work experience and education requirements**- Min SPM level or equivalent with minimum 1 year working experience in related field- Local Vocational or Technical school leavers are preferred- Knowledge in CNC machine tooling & equipment maintenance- Able to set up workpieces according to the program sheet instruction- Able to troubleshooting on CNC machines alarm- Able to read and understand basic English and engineering drawing**Other requirements**- Good personality- Able to perform shift work- Able to work under pressure- Able to work longer working duration when required by Supervisor**Salary**: From RM1,800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Free parking- Health insurance- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Overtime pay
