Incumbent performs diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment as assigned in accordance with departmental productivity standards. Position requires technical skills, a sense of urgency towards meeting internal and external customer needs, and participation in all programs designed to meet the company's objectives.**Key Accountabilities**:- This position works in-house repairing and servicing equipment, parts, devices, (e.g.,machinery, airconditioners, building facilities, or other labeling printing products, disassembling and and sub assemblies as needed.) Conduct daily inspection & conduct rectification of plant facility to ensure things are in order.- Attend to breakdowns immediately (mechanical, electrical, building, airconditioners and related machineries or building breakdowns). Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard equipment and verbal and/or written instructions. Follows illustrated parts breakdowns and service manuals to properly disassemble and reassemble equipment to perform necessary repairs.- Disassembles and re-builds/assembles all business specific parts, devises, equipment, sub assemblies, using specification sheets, verbal and handwritten instructions. This includes timely rectification and analysis of all breakdowns including sharing improvements in rectification methods verbally and written documentations.- Performs cleaning, lubrication and other preventive maintenance tasks as required timely and physical completion in Preventive Maintenace (PM) work order. This includes timely update and closure in PM work orders in MEX PM planning system or any systems related.- Tests and performs necessary machine product adjustments to ensure full functionality.- Inspects completed repairs.- Follow up on Breakdown Elimination through Initial Problem Solving (IPS), Unified Problem Solving (UPS) and other method such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent repeated events / failures and reduce downtime.- Maintains high priority on internal customer satisfaction. Properly responds and resolves urgent service requests within company stated objectives. Performs all required customer follow up in a timely manner meeting company stated objectives in customer satisfaction.- Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.- Contribute and participate in team decision making.- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives- Support storekeeper to ensure condition of spare parts store is maintained in good condition with parts retrieval in orderly manner. Support storekeeper in quarterly stock count to deliver 100% accuracy- Maintains inventory accuracy and turns in accordance with service standards.- Responsible for the electrical systems in a plant. Helps to plan, operate and carry out any work that's related to electrical safety precautions and preventive maintenance. Carry out schedule inspections and testing of standby Generator, Jockey/Standby Pumps.- Ensure GMP housekeeping / cleanliness of maintenance store, office, workshop and working tools- Supervise external contractor's works / service and monitor their performance**Under AO Chargeman Electrical Responsibilities: -**- Maintain low voltage system and ensure compliance to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and all Regulatory requirements- Maintain HT station 300KVA and ensure compliance to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and all Regulatory requirements with supervision from BO chargeman- Maintain and test ACB, MCCB, RCCB, ELR and CAP BANK and ensure compliance to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and all Regulatory requirements with supervision of BO chargeman**Key Requirements;**- Background in Mechanical and Electrical field.- Troubleshooting skills especially in machineries and building facilities- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.**Our Story**Fonterra is a global nutrition company owned by 9000 farming families in New Zealand.
