The Maintenance is responsible for the building, construction, repair, maintenance and upkeep of the UCSI Group of Schools' property, buildings, furniture and grounds. The maintenance of resources ensures the Schools readiness and availability for 24 hour x 365 days per year operation. The position reports directly to the Manager, Campus Logistics, in delivering timely, cost effective maintenance and improvement of the School's property which includes buildings and structures, electrical facilities, furniture and fittings, utility services and infrastructure, grounds and gardens.- The Maintenance exercises general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment, and maintains systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts for the UCSI Group of Schools.- Provide daily technical support- Report and maintain all electrical related systems, and equipments- Daily prioritising and actioning of the School's facilities maintenance tasks- Maintain air conditioner and CCTV- Follow through to ensure that tasks are completed to a satisfactory standard- Report on a weekly basis on your work to your Supervisor- Undertake maintenance related administrative duties such as checking on delivery of orders, and other yearly maintenance matters- Ensure the Schools Workplace Health and Safety policy is adhered to at all times- Develop and maintain schedules for preventive maintenance.- Keep maintenance records for all equipment.- Be contactable at all times during working hours and to respond quickly to all calls- Ensure safety compliance throughout entire facility and grounds.- Work with team for optimum workflow and cost management.- Be available for standby for any ad hoc functions at the request of the Company or your supervisor- Diagnose and fix problems in air-conditioning systems- Assist other functional personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.- Repair and modifies various items, systems and/or components e.g. centrifugal chillers, air conditioning systems, water piping and etc. for the purpose of providing renovation and preventive maintenance of air conditioning systems.- Conduct inspections and maintenance of air conditioning- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, servicing, testing and repairs of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.- Troubleshoot, performing emergency repairs and undertakes hands on repair works for any related issues- Order materials as needed, and makes recommendations of supplies and equipment for purchase- Be available and or standby for any ad hoc functions at the request of the Company or your supervisor.- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your supervisor as such doing urgent deliveries, transportation etc.- Perform maintenance for pool service from time to time- Perform all duties that may be assigned to you by the Company or your supervisor from time to time.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 24 monthsPay: From RM2,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Port Dickson: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- How many months/week will be your service notice.**Education**:- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (preferred)**Experience**:- Facilities maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
