Daily duties include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventive maintenance procedures.- To provide racking and maintenance support to the operation department.Ensure good functionality of equipment/ mechanical components, e.g. jigs, tools, etc.- Conduct daily audits on equipment mechanical components, and building facilities and report findings to the MT manager to ensure the good functionality of all mechanical components.- To carry out fabrication and erection work at the optimum time.- To carry out minor installation, upgrading, and modification of mechanical equipment.- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment mechanical components, as per Scheduled Maintenance Program or as per MT Manager's instruction respectively, including but not limited to:- (a) Making scheduled checks on machinery, building facilities, and parts(b) Oiling and cleaning machinery and parts(c) Overhauling and replacing parts(d) Trouble-shoot equipment mechanical components, and pursue immediate rectification of equipment breakdowns.- Assists MT manager to monitor regular servicing and externally contracted works on equipment mechanical components.- Perform small-medium scale project works, which are within the scope of mechanical works.- Practice good work methods with respect to the hazard, safety, and environmental aspects.- Ensure good housekeeping at the mechanical workshop as well as other areas where mechanical works are being conducted.- Assist in the supervision of externally contracted mechanical and civil works.- Assist externally contracted mechanical and civil works as instructed by the MT manager.- General upkeep of the building.- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentryBe aware of the company QHSE policy and comply with any instructions, measures, and procedures in respect of HSE instituted by the company at all times.
