Management Accountant

**Job responsibilities**:- Responsible for management and reporting of financial information for an organization.- Their main duties include preparing financial statements, examining, and analysing a company's accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, Fixed Assets and Cash Managements).- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns as well as performing audit and resolve discrepancies.- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.**The minimum requirements are**:- Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as accounting, finance, accounting, business studies, economics or other related field.- At least 10 years of experience in similar field.- Must be a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
