The successful candidate will be part of our initiative in designing captivating customer journeys, leveraging a deep understanding of AI/ML/Digital solutions to deliver a modern customer experience.Hong Leong Bank is undergoing a transformation journey where our products & services will be driven by an AI/ML strategy. Communications with our customers are contextual, relevant, and engaging. This roleis pivotal in supporting this objective, as the successful candidate will be a key contributor to ensure all campaigns are developed based on data-backed insights and employing modern marketing methods.Functional (Job Responsibilities)Act as the key analytics partner to business to understand and evaluate business problems by conducting discussion sessions with product managers and gather data and requirements, and define a solution.Perform in depth investigation via hypothesis creation, deep dive analysis to prove or disprove hypotheses and uncover new insights and solutions that are meaningful and actionable to guide decision making and develop business strategy.When applicable, collaborate closely with Data Scientists from the Data Science Lab by providing business insight, context and direction during the AI/ML model development stage.Translate AI/ML findings into business language and build a storyboard to present findings, recommendations and action plan.Validate analysis and / or AI/ML model findings by piloting journeys, either in batch or in real time to a selected test group of customers.Review and evaluate campaign requests and performance to provide structure to campaigns in order to reduce ad hoc demand and improve resource and time management.Perform monthly campaign performance reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement to senior management and business owners.Support the real time continuous marketing effort by uncovering new business opportunities for cross sell, upsell and attrition via continuous analysis and monitoring of customer behavior over time.Act as the key business partner to product managers and provide guidance and advice to stakeholders across the bank (touchpoints and products) to develop engaging and relevant content for campaign creation to drive optimal response.Develop, maintain and improve on campaign trackers to aid in campaign performance reviews as well as analytic marts to improve speed of analysis.Constantly look out for ways to enhance the data available by combining primary and secondary source data as much as possible to enrich analysis capability.Create a collaborative work environment within the team to share data, scripts, results and findings of campaigns, etc to drive process efficiency and maximize value.Clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations orally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations to peers and management.Managerial Guide and review the work of junior team members and AGTs on the analysis process from developing the analysis framework, thought process, journey design to final presentation.Act as checker in the maker / checker process of scripts to ensure logic and data sources used are correct.Able to manage different stakeholders from business, IT, etc in order to have a positive influence to drive desired outcomes.Organizational To ensure alignment to the Division and Bank's strategic intent and goals for the financial yearTo drive analytic insights that are useful in business decision making.Education/QualificationDegree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, or related disciplines.Experience>5 Years experience in a data-focused role, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies and personalized marketing campaigns is a plus.Proficiency in data science methodologies, including AI/ML algorithms and statistical analysis.Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts for data processing and analysis.Experience in SQL, Python AI/ML development, Tableau, & API integration processes.Track record of driving business value through the integration of data analytics and business strategies, resulting in improved operational efficiency, revenue growth, and competitive advantage.Ability to juggle multiple work streams, filter, evaluate, and prioritise solutions.Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and is a collaborative team player.Comfortable working with tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
