Job Description
OVERALL:
To handle and responsible for the department breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage capital expenditure projects that includes planning, budget control, projects schedules, etc.
To keep abreast on latest manufacturing technologies and carry out evaluation on how these technologies can enhance effectiveness of operations.
Develops, directs, and / or evaluates new manufacturing technologies
Develop , implements, and /or evaluate operational excellence projects
Ensure good operational effectiveness existing process.
Maintain good understanding of operating system and process and identify areas of improvements.
Initiate and directs continuous improvement projects in process and engineering equipment.
Supervise all engineering department personnel and ensure that adequate training and skills development is provided for optimum performance of department.
Derives, monitor and control departmental budget and ensure department objectives are met.
Directs the maintenance department and ensure department objective are met.
Develops and directs a maintenance management system that includes preventive and predictive maintenance, parts inventory control, control of maintenance cost, manpower control, etc.
To always maintain and encourage department teamwork.
To ensure all expenditure is within the budget.
To ensure downtime are minimal and team performing the job efficiently as per guideline in KPI.
Always feedback to superior regarding any outstanding issues/items.
To work out plan to achieve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
To liaise with other departments/plants for any standardization or critical work execution.
To ensure and practice self-safety and remind others on all works performed.
To ensure compliance with ISO
To rectify complain from internal and external customers.
Always adhere to company rules, policy and regulations.
To always innovate and improve on the process and frequent breakdown and non-user friendly equipment?s.
To carry out any other jobs that were given from superiors.
Always ensure jobs are completed before the dateline given.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge in Feasibility Studies, Facilities and Engineering System Operation Management and understanding of power generation.
Excellent communication
Excellent Leadership skill
People Management Skill
Articulation Skill
High engineering comprehension ability
Technical Skill such as electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting etc
Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Degree in any other fields deemed applicable.
