**Position Title**:- China : Government Relationship Manager**Position Overview**:- As a China Regulatory Manager for Airlines, your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with Chinese aviation regulations and maintaining positive relationships with regulatory authorities. You will oversee regulatory compliance, monitor changes in aviation laws and policies, and collaborate with internal teams and HQ to implement necessary measures.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure the airline's operations comply with all relevant Chinese aviation regulations, including safety standards, licensing requirements, and operational guidelines.- **Policy Monitoring**: Stay updated on changes in Chinese aviation laws, regulations, and policies. Analyze the impact of these changes on the airline's operations and develop strategies to address compliance challenges.- **Government Liaison**: Serve as the primary point of contact between the airline and Chinese regulatory agencies, such as the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and other government bodies. Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory officials.- **Compliance Audits**: Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Chinese regulatory requirements. Identify areas for improvement and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.- **Strategic Planning**: Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the airline's government relations strategy. Identify opportunities for collaboration and advocacy efforts to support the airline's business objectives.- **Reporting and Documentation**:Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory compliance activities, audits, permits, and licenses. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, law, regulatory affairs, or a related field.- Extensive experience in regulatory compliance within the aviation industry, with a focus on China's regulatory framework.- In-depth knowledge of Chinese aviation laws, regulations, and policies, including CAAC regulations and industry standards.- Strong understanding of permit and license requirements for airlines operating in China.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, especially with government officials and regulatory bodies.- Analytical skills to assess regulatory impact and develop effective compliance strategies.- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English languages.- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
