**Key Responsibilities**:- Prepare and publish reports, maintain and develop proprietary database, build quantitative models and spreadsheets, compile presentation materials and information for other research products.- Proactively identify and monitor developments for assigned area of research coverage, and disseminate key market information to research analysts, clients and internal stakeholders.- Conduct macroeconomic and financial market research to provide views and recommendations.- Coordinate the publication and dissemination of research reports and products.- Revert on requests from internal stakeholders and external clients in a timely fashion.- Coordinate and participate in discussions involving cross-disciplinary research.- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects of strategic importance. Conduct other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Head of Research.**Key Requirements**:- Strong academic background in Economics, Finance or other equivalent professional qualifications.- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of economic and financial market concepts.- Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to effectively communicate thoughts in a succinct and dynamic manner.- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as having a proactive approach to problem solving.- High level of personal motivation to improve knowledge and skills, as well as having the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Macrobond, Eviews/Mathlab/Stata or other statistical programmes is recommended, and mandatory for Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
