Roles & Responsibilities* Actively pursue and secure new customers for APLL products and services in order to meet revenue and profitability goals as defined. Increase company's sales revenue through effective marketing skills, business approaches and knowledge of APLL products and services. Conduct cost and financial analysis of opportunities and project pricing and coordinate marketing and pricing strategies in relations to bid opportunities. Develop and implement a country business and financial governance system to comply local and corporate governance standards. Lead and develop sales and marketing plans for customers in target industry verticals. Ensure management reporting are timely and accurate. Generate sales leads to destinations countries for business information. Develop business network of service providers for expansion and creating the necessary infrastructure and capabilities with the aim to secure business. Liaise and work with regional and global teams in development of marketing and sales of APLL products and services. Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets. Develop a marketing database with information on each new logistics vertical and promote new supply chain program models for new customers. Qualification*University Degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 5 years working experience in the logistics environment and track record in Sales/Operations Management related industry.Requirements*Must have good network of customers with requirements for Logistics Solutioning in Singapore and Malaysia.Knowledge and experience in logistics management, warehousing and distribution Ocean Freight and NVOCC and other supply chain-related services.Experience in managing customer logistics projects and developing procedures to ensure success of projects.Customer oriented with the ability to establish strong relationships and interact effectively with customers at various levels.Ability to effectively & efficiently adopt/adapt information technology and logistics solutions as an enabler to supply-chain processes.Key Results Area*Meet or exceed country revenue/profitability targets as defined.Strengthen and develop the operations function of APL Logistics Malaysia through service capabilities, country network and operation's organization structureResponsible for identifying new business and secure new customers and deliver volume, revenue and contribution margins to meet or exceed the budget.Develop new market channels; build business networks and relationships with relevant customers and key decision makers with the aim of securing business.Planning and implementing an effective company's sales strategy with emphasis on profitability, customer base expansion and business growth.Identify, develop and build business networks and relationships with relevant service partners to create the necessary infrastructure and capabilities with the aim to secure new business.Be able to troubleshoot and provide resolutions to customers' operations.
