If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us…The primary role of Manager - Property (Vendor Due Diligence & Compliance) is to provide leadership in the day-to-day development and execution of vendor due diligence activities across the Bank's existing and prospecting vendors; and Ensuring all functions under PPFM maintain a robust 1st line defense in accordance with the Bank's 3 Lines Compliance Defense Model; Leading work collaborations and integrations concerning any risk and compliance matters from the lens of PPFM and OSHA (and related reporting) with the Bank's 2nd and/or 3rd line defense team to ensure that the Bank Group's strategic directions, risk and compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements are fully met.Key Responsibilities:Vendor Due Diligence:To ensure top-notch KYV (Know Your Vendor) due diligence assessments (not limited to financials, money laundering, connected party, sustainability etc.) are carried out accurately and timely;To collect, follow-up, analyze, verify all KYV due diligence assessment processes and outcomes are in line with the Bank's Sustainable Procurement Framework;To partner with vendor managers to deploy KYV surveys/development programs and supplementation of documentation to strengthen vendors' scoring;To communicate independently and professionally with external and internal stakeholders on all vendor due diligence related matters;To prepare recommendation and deviation papers of vendors to the management team for approvals;To review, propose enhancement and implement of existing or new controls to improve the integrity of the Bank's Sustainable Procurement and Compliance Frameworks meeting regulatory and industry standards to mitigate supply chain risks;To manage, review and improve the end-to-end KYV due diligence process flow to stay compliant with relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of the Bank at all times;To keep proper records of all vendor due diligence assessments deployed including approvals to facilitate with yearly audit exercise; PPFM Compliance:To execute the Bank's Compliance Frameworks, review and update policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal standards and guidelines;To act as a single point contact on all risk and compliance matters of PPFM in consultation with Group Risk and Group Compliance team;In supporting the Head of PPFM to drive a strong culture of compliance across PPFM;To be responsible for the overall timely completion and reporting of Risk and Compliance Self-Assessments ("RCSA") for PPFM;To work closely with Group Compliance to ensure all relevant new legislations and regulations applicable to PPFM are reviewed and implemented on time;To propose and recommend initiatives to improve existing internal processes and/or adopt new processes to comply with revised/new regulatory requirements where necessary impacting PPFM department;To partner sectional leaders of PPFM supporting the review of policies and SOPs during annual review to ensure coherence to the Bank's overall compliance and risk goals;To act as the Business Continuity Management Coordinator being the single point of contact representing PPFM with EBC (Enterprise Business Continuity Team) on any business continuity matters and submission to Bank Negara/relevant authorities or to senior management members; To customize and deliver effective risk and compliance training and huddles to colleagues of PPFM continuously;To oversee and provide advisory support to the Bank's OSHA committee to ensure compliance;To jointly attend to OSHA matters/officers' visits and provide technical input with respective stakeholders such as HR, Facilities Management, BOS, PFS etc.;To be responsible of secretariat management for OSHA Committee and ensure efficient reporting ; Jobholder RequirementsHigher Education/Bachelor degree in legal, business, accounting/audit, sustainable development, or equivalent;Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 3 years in a team lead capacity, preferably handling risk, compliance, audit or due diligence related roles;Direct or indirect exposure in an ESG related role focusing in Human Rights in the Workplace, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Ethics in Business Practice will be an added advantage;Affinity with the financial sector and basic understanding of due diligence and (international) Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regulations etc.;Certification/Licensing of Safety and Health Officer, Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
