Posted byRecruiterROLE OVERVIEW Our asset management client is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager specializing in Operational Risk.Primary responsibility is to assist Head Office ERM team in ERM risk activities, including Policy Management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Models and User Defined Application management, and risk reporting for the region.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintain a trusted, collaborative relationship with stakeholders to promote engagement in Risk Management activities and lead scheduled Risk reporting requirements, including the preparation and collation of Riskmittee's Risk Pack.Manage and review standardized key risk indicators/metrics submissions for analysis and early identification of risk trends.Drive and support the implementation, project management, and rollout activities pertaining to the phased rollout of modules in the eGRC system (PRISM) to all business units.Acquire Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge on the PRISM system and provide effective change management, training, and guidance.Support the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process and engage in the 2nd Line challenge of the RCSA process.Conduct internal operational risk controls adequacy and effectiveness reviews, training, and workshops Support in the implementation and management of the Model and User Developed Applications Policy and inventory list across all business units independently.Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Operational Risk Incident and Escalation reporting process.Monitor daily incidents and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure incidents are properly handled and resolved.Develop incident analytics like trend analysis and escalate to stakeholders for action, performing necessary follow-up as required.Manage, Provide, and Enhance Head Office Non-Financial Risk oversight to the overseas Local Business ORM teams.Provide training and guidance on ORM frameworks and requirements.Support the team in designing and developing Enterprise/Operational Risk intelligence dashboards and data analytics solutions using industry-standard toolsets like Power BI.Support the team on other ad-hoc risk-related initiatives and BAU (Business as Usual) risk tasks as required.EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Good understanding of the end-to-end investment management process, financial services data, and risk technology platforms.Minimum 6 years of proven experience in operational risk / enterprise risk with strong knowledge of operational and/or enterprise risk management frameworks and tools.Analytical, meticulous, self-starter with strong written and spokenmunication skills in English.Ability in written and spoken Mandarin is a plus.Ability to multitask and handle tight deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.Skillsets in coding (, Python) and intelligence dashboards like Power BI.
