Job DescriptionJob SummaryResponsible for the respective KPI, QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety)Provide consultation to respective Supervisors/LL/LO and other blue collar members under his responsibility in Quality Value stream approach (14Q) – including Products, Services and Supplier Quality Management (Deploy and implement Plant initiatives to meet company and Business unit KPI's . such as RSL1, DP, IDCEnsure Direct Productivity and failures cost are monitor and drive for improvementEffective manpower planning, budget planning and control. Include cost reduction activities in his responsible section.As the section BPS coordinator on the BPS activities.Specific tasks assigned by the superior as and when necessary.Job ScopeOverall responsibility of respective cost centerEstablishing strategies for effective shop floor management Document all the best practice of the related area manufacturing processesWork closely with Project leaders for new products introduction and implementation. Consider capacity planning.Lead his team to achieve planned quantity, quality, EHS, Safety and cost standards according to the Value Stream Goal/Target.Ensure and support of internal and external audit.To ensure his responsible associates are trained. In respect to the related processes eg. 4Q, Quality and safety standardRegular review with associates on improvement progress and provide necessary guidance.Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly Reporting eg. DP, OEE, IDC, FOR, PSS, BPS etc in timely manner and establish action plan to close the gapOther tasks assigned by the superior as and when necessary.QualificationsBachelor Degree in technical or manufacturing related disciplineAble to communicate orally and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentPreferably to have experience in welding technology, Plastic molding, metal stamping, PCBA.Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard, TS16949, Product safety requirement , CSA, EU will be an added advantage.Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of problem-solving technique in solving Quality issues including risk assessment evaluationEffective communication skills with all levels within the organization, suppliers and customersKnowledge in DOE, SPC, MSA, APQP and PPAP, QFD, 8D, CpK, CmK or Cgk (added advantages)Ability to manage personnel time to ensure the success of a project and completion of assignments.Ability to work with minimum supervision, giving constructive feedback regularly & self-motivation.Able to delegate, monitor & follow up assignments/jobs towards achievement of goalsAble to guide individuals or groups towards task accomplishment besides building the cohesive, cooperative and positive teams.
