Our ideal candidates are looking for new challenges and would like to join a team of experienced professionals who are passionate to grow in one of the world's largest maritime organizations.InterrelationsReports to: Marine HR Manager or Global Head of Marine HRFor the fulfillment of the objective of the role, the Marine HR Supervisor also interrelates with:WSM Technical and HSEQ, WVA and/or other internal support functionsVesselsMarine Personnel agentsTechnical Manager of vessels where other than WSMClients or their representativesAuthorities or institutions, as applicableMember of the local WSM Emergency Response TeamFormal authoritiesLeading the Marine HR functions for assigned vessels/fleetLeading the Marine HR teamMain responsibilities and tasksOperationalHandling HR matters concerning manning of vessels with qualified, certified, and medically fit personnel forassigned fleetHandling planning and placement activities of seafarers for assigned fleet, with a focus on long term planningEnsure high level seafarer compliance with flag state and company requirementsEnsuring crew database is fully updated for assigned fleetCreate, follow up and approve budget and cost control for assigned vesselsFollow up on P&I casesPlan and participate in vessel visits as required by ClientParticipate in internal and external audits as requiredFollow-up on seafarer feedback surveys and propose improvementsLead, motivate and follow-up on dedicated Marine HR team; follow-up on engagement surveys and personnel casesBe the main contact point for all Clients of assigned fleetStrategicalMonitor assigned Marine Personnel agents serving assigned fleet operate according to WSM and Client requirementsContribute to initiatives connected to welfare and other benefits on assigned vesselsContribute to business development as and when required by Marine HR ManagementActively participate in process improvements and implementations concerning Marine HRActively contribute to enhance seafarer satisfaction with WSMContribute to establish, develop and follow-up on Marine HR KPI's and local AOP as applicableInvolve and engage direct reports and their teams to improve engagement, job satisfaction and productivityAdditional responsibilities and tasksIdentify and contribute to training and competency development needs to Competence Development & TrainingPerform performance reviews with direct reportsInvolve and engage direct reports and their teams to improve engagement, job satisfaction and productivityContribute to business development as and when required by Global Business Development teamLead the recruitment for direct reports in Marine HR teamParticipate in special projects as given by Marine HR ManagementAccountabilitiesThe position will be measured against Key Operational Indicators revised annuallyClient relationshipsGoals as given in performance reviews with ManagerCompetence and qualificationsCustomer focusedTeam player with proactive and solution-oriented approachEfficient decision makerMin. 3 years experience from maritime operations and/or HRExperience from senior leadership roles in maritime industryExcellent English communication skills#LI-POST
