Summary of Position
The Mascot Performer will entertain and interact with Gulls fans at games and in the community by acting as the official mascot. This will involve being in costume and acting in a fun and friendly manner. It will also involve the ability to skate while in costume, move around, dance, pose for photos, and other activities to excite fans.

Responsibilities
The mascot performer will dress in costume at Gulls home games and other community events as assigned.
The mascotwillact in-character while in the costume at all times, and act in a friendly and entertaining manner in front of fans.
At Community Events responsibilities mayinclude, butare not limited to interacting with fans including taking photos, signing autographs, participating in promotions.
At San Diego Gulls Games responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: interacting with fans including taking photos and signing autographs, dancing, leading cheers, skating on ice while in costume, participating in promotions and other game entertainment both on and off ice
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Intermediate to advanced skating experience, and the ability to skate while in a mascot costume.
Entertainment background with experience in one or multiple of the following areas: cheerleading, acting, working as a costumed performer.
Flexible schedule with the ability to workweek days/nights, weekends and some holidays as required. Must be available to work all home games.
The position will require constant standing, walking, and skating for most events.
This will be done while wearing a full mascot costume covering the entire body including the head.
It may also require transporting the mascot costume to and from events, which will involve lifting.
