DescriptionAbout this opportunity!As a Material Planner in inventory control, you will be responsible for the execution of the inventory control cadence in the global supply chain. The supply chain consists of an infrastructure of logistic centres and stocking points, where inventory is planned and held based on parameters such as customer demands (customer contracts), geography, spare parts classification, and installed base. You will be ensuring the inventory control procedures are driven timely, and inventory optimization activities are analyzed and driven.What you will doAnalytical activities related to global inventory management and control. Full understanding of the material planning processes, using Planning related systems based upon parameters such as customer demands (customer contracts), supply constraints, geography, spare parts classification, etc. The Material Management processes and tools are designed to deliver a defined level of material availability for SLA fulfillment against an efficient end to end supply chain cost. It is the role of the Inventory Control Analyst to provide analysis on the end-to-end inventory categories and support the optimization to reach the defined targets and business objectives.The inventory control analyst will drive several activities:Defining of inventory segmentationIdentifying inventory optimization like redistribution of excess inventoryCalculate inventory provisioning, based on set rulesCreate inventory action proposals e.g. scrapping, utilizationPerforming root cause analysis on inventory related queriesSupport the calculation of business cases in changes in the supply chain networkSupport in buy-back opportunities and drive the utilization of buy-back stockYou will bringMust have Bachelor or Master degree in a study relevant for this position1 to 2 years' experience in material, inventory control or production planningAPICS type CPIM certification, preferredMaterial requirements planning systems experienceMust be experienced in Microsoft Office, especially advanced in ExcelMust be analytical, meticulous and possess a strong commitment to excellenceMust be able to work independently, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and well organized with analytical mindsetMust be detail orientated and have the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks.Must have a high degree of ownership and initiativeMust have good verbal and written communications skillsWhy Join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
