**#Mechanical Assembly Production #Design Engineering #Manufacturing Engineering #Mechanical Engineering****Salary**:RM4000 to RM6000**Job Location**: Malaysia Melaka Batu Berendam**Job Types**: Permanent Full time Onsite 5 days**Business Sector**:Machinery Manufacturing Company provides Turnkey Manufacturing Services: High Mix Low Volume and Serial Production**Responsibilities**:- Directly manage a team of Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and technicians, and take full responsibility for the teams' development and workload scheduling.- Provides technical and program-level support and guidance to the team, including execution strategies.- Ensure that design verifications and design validations are carried out to confirm the design with assistance from relevant system/subsystem engineers.- Identify necessary technical skills required in upcoming projects and opportunities. Structure training and ensure the team is sufficiently trained in time to breach this competency gap.- Align and harmonise process and Milestone deliverables for ME discipline.- Perform quality checks on the production team processes, sub-assembly and modules.- Ensure timely completion of team's deliverables for each work package, Project Milestones and tender proposals within budget using both technical engineering and administrative skills.- Architect solutions together with a specialist for each project.- Facilitate resolving escalated technical issues from the team.- Plan and manage manpower for training, operation and on-site service.- Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.- Provide weekly production plan and schedule to project manager/director.**Job Requirements**:- Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.- More than 5 years' experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering environment.- Experience in leading a team.- Experience in computer-aided drafting and design e.g. SolidWorks or AutoCAD.- Involvement in Continual Improvement initiatives (e.g. 5S, Lean, Kaizen).**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- Please provide your current salary.- Please provide your expected salary.- Please advise your soonest availability to start working if you are offered for this job.**Experience**:- Mechanical engineering: 1 year (preferred)- Team Leading: 1 year (preferred)- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)- SolidWorks: 1 year (preferred)- Autodesk Inventor: 1 year (preferred)- Engineering Drawing: 1 year (preferred)- GD&T: 1 year (preferred)Ability to Relocate:- Melaka: Relocate before starting work (required)
