Mechanical Operator

Basic FunctionAssure the proper operation of plant processing equipment by performing mechanical plant maintenance as directed.**Responsibilities**:- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair all plant mechanical systems as directed by the superior.- Make periodic inspections of plant equipment and report its condition to the supervisor for further evaluation.- Regularly communicate interdepartmentally on the status of jobs, projected completion time, and the need (if any) for assistance.- Perform advanced rebuild/retrofits of mechanical equipment and advanced industrial fabrication functions as needed.- Perform basic mechanical maintenance functions and basic mechanical fabrication functions as needed.- To be available to attend for emergency and urgent circumstantial situation.- Use the plant maintenance software system to query for open emergency and planned mechanical maintenance jobs and to accurately and completely document work effort and job status.- Act as an mechanical vendor liaison. Coordinate inspection and repair schedules, ensure parts availability, confirm the accuracy of bills of labor and materials, etc.Qualification- High School/diploma or equivalent education- Good command of both oral and written local language is required.- Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial. (English is preferred).- 2-5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.- Formal training or practical experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical systems.- High level of mechanical aptitude is a must.- Knowledge of all plant operations in the area of responsibility.- Areas of competence include, but are not limited to: mechanical rotating, static, lubrication, vibration, balancing & alignment.**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Rotational shiftAbility to Commute:- Kulim (required)Ability to Relocate:- Kulim: Relocate before starting work (required)
