QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT- Minimum Technical Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized institution.- 1-2 years working experience in heavy industry environment- Paper Mill working experience is added advantage.- Strong hands on in heavy maintenance works, bearing maintenance, mechanical seal maintenance, gear boxes, pumps, fan, rotating equipment, technical knowledge in hydraulic system and pneumatic system and troubleshooting skill in rotating equipment such as screw press, centrifugal pump etc.- Good knowledge in hydraulics & pneumatics trouble shooting.- Ability to read blue print / technical drawings.- Good Analytical skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.- To follow and ensure compliance of work team supervised on AHP's safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines when carried out maintenance activities.- Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and inspection activities on mechanical equipment and their associated system in Pulp Mill, Sludge system and RPW.- Assist Area Team Leader in service and maintenance works with high quality and timely.- Performs work in the mechanic's skill area such as fabrication, dismantling, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting and posses specific skill in Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance- Assist Area Team Leader in providing specific maintenance training as required.- Participates and involves in installation, troubleshoots and repairs of complex mechanical equipment and their associated system, involving maintenance work of varied nature.- Works from SAP work-order, production/verbal request, walkdown defect lists, drawings or sketches- Supervises and directs work of contractors and helpers as required.- To promote and ensure good housekeeping in work area, which include the service workshop, pulp mill area and any other areas within the company's premises.- To participate in the rotating standby and callback rooster and ensure respond in timely manner and as per established guideline.- To participate and perform 5 S practices at work area.- To participate in the rotating standby and callback rooster and ensure respond in timely manner and as per established guideline.**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM3,177.39 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Fixed shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Mentakab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Mechanical engineering: 1 year (preferred)
