Network Administrator

Install, configure and troubleshoots network devices (shoots LANs, WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems) and all required services to designed operational level.- Research, review and schedule needed patches, upgrades and repairs to keep the network infrastructure to function optimally and secure.- Deploy hardware, Network Operating Systems upgrades and patches to ensure secure and optimal network infrastructure.- Setup and maintain monitoring system on network throughput, quality, health and security at all critical points. Execute remedial actions when necessary.- Collect performance data to evaluate network infrastructure performance; to be used for configurations improvements to make the system work better and faster.- Maintain network servers such as file servers. VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes.- Create and verify configurations backups and execute restorations as required.- Schedule and perform periodical configuration and backup audit; execute failover tests on all critical points.- Configure and execute physical and system access control to ensure the network is secure from internal and external intrusion.- **Strictly follow system change documentation and approval process (e.g. Change Request).**:- Document and update all technical reference and operational documents of the networks and Standard Operating Procedures in line with current ISO audit standards.- Research, evaluate management and monitoring tools to perform tasks quickly and efficiently.- Respond immediately to security or usability concerns and act as Level 2 support to junior technicians to resolve user issue.- **Respond to and resolve help desk requests.**:- Design, analyze and develop network and computer system models for projects undertaken by the company.**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: From RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to Friday- On callSupplemental pay types:- Performance bonus**Experience**:- Network Administrator: 4 years (required)Ability to Relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Relocate before starting work (required)
