Operation Manager

Scope & duties: 1.Managing wharf operation and coordinating with the transportation fleet on the delivery schedule; 2.Monitoring weighing in and weighing out of vehicles on weighbridge during and after regular working hours; 3.Check, execute and follow-up/adjust the loading and unloading of goods and delivery activities; 4. Perform housekeeping activities in the wharf; 5. Perform additional task as and when needed/requested by superiors; 6. Liaise with barge operators, transporters, suppliers, customers and colleagues for daily activities; and 7. Any other general administrative matters for transportation operation Requirements: 1 SPM equivalent or higher 2 Proven successful experience of at least 5 years in the related field, either in wharf or logistic operations 3 Knowledge in weighbridge system will be an asset 4. Must have basic computing skills 4 Applicants must be willing to work in Asajaya, Kota Samarahan, and able to work on shift. 6 Must be responsible, pro-active, strong management and supervisory skills and good in communication in both English and BM.We are a newly established trading and logistic company.
