PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION):
Ensure outlet team is inspired and motivated towards achieving company target while providing exceptional customer service experience and product quality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Part 1 –Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of KPIs
• Supervise and ensure that all outlet staffs demonstrate top notch customer service
• Supervise and ensure that all drinks served to customers are at highest quality
• Supervise and ensure that promoting/upselling are practiced at all times
• Manage outlet finances and work within the given budget – Outlet Sales, Cost of Goods Sold and Labour Cost
• Responsible for outlet cash handling matters based on rules/guidelines set forth by HQ
Part 2 – Secondary roles which supports the primary roles above
• Identify potential in staff and develop staff towards promotion
• Make hiring decision based on interview assessment result
• Monitor and check stock count result as submitted by senior staff, ensure that submission is on time
• Organize outlet timetable, assign staffs to specific shifts and duties
• Always attentive to monitor direct and in-direct competitors, public holidays/ events and happenings of the surroundings. Constant communication with operations executive to develop action plan to improve sales
• Manage all outlet staffing issues, including staff discipline and performance review
• Maintain a healthy stock inventory level to prevent overstock or stock shortage, and control outlet wastage
• Manage customer complaints/queries and solve them within given authority
• Chair weekly outlet meeting to keep everyone motivated and updated on outlet business performance, marketing initiatives, share best practices, and other relevant outlet issues
• Ensure that the correct and updated promotional materials are displayed
• Maintain outlet equipment and report any equipment faulty issues back to HQ
• Report any operational and non-operational issues/irregularities to operations exec/operations director in the timeliest manner possible
Qualifications
• With SPM qualification or diploma in any F&B related courses
• Taken typhoid injection
• Taken health and food safety certification provided by the government
Experience
• At least 1-year work in a F&B retail industry
• Held outlet supervisor/ manager position with at least 6 months’ experience in a retail F&B company
