Packaging Designer Responsibilities: • Collaborating with marketing team members to ensure packaging meets branding goals and discuss packaging specifications . • Analyzing market trends and similar packaging designs, customer needs and product details to conceptualize effective package designs. • Brainstorming packaging ideas using hand sketches, verbal cues, words, and design software. • Develop graphics for product page, product packaging, product labels, advertisement, logos, websites, and other branding and communication materials. • Produce photographs for website, product page and marketing use. • Ensuring packaging designs accurately represent the company’s brand and ethos. • Selecting functional ideas and creating packaging mock-ups. • File management, archiving and documentation. • Identifying suitable packaging materials and conducting feasibility studies. • Presenting final designs to stakeholders and company managers. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Art, or a similar field. • Marketing experience would be preferable. • Proven experience working as a Packaging Designer. • Natural talent for design and a keen eye for detail. • A person with strong artistic sense, able to communicate the message to the target audience through graphic design and photography. • Understanding of photography and an eye for photos that will convey necessary messages for the design goals. • Experience with market research and product placement advertising. • Familiarity with various packaging materials. • Knowledge of consumer packaging health and safety regulations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Make sure to include your portfolio links you have created so we can see how AWESOME you are!
