**Company Description**Champ Code Academy is an EdTech platform headquartered in Singapore, providing online coding classes for kids aged 7 and above in the region. With a progressive and structured Lesson Plan designed for children with no experience, we aim to induct them into the enchanting world of coding by significantly flattening the learning curve.Champ Code Academy is looking for a Part-Time Coding Instructor (starting ASAP) to support the team in the following areas:- Teaching of the Beginner Class curriculum (100% online via Zoom)- Assist the Head of Curriculum in fine-tuning teaching methodology- Self-development in learning Advanced Class curriculum- Collecting and relaying feedback from students and parents to the leadership team**Job Requirements**- Current student at a reputable university pursuing a Bachelor Degree- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Keen interest in computer science and programming languages- Prior experience in coding is not required but a plus- Attend 1x 2hr training session online via Zoom- Prepare before each class using the self-study materials provided- Able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours of tutoring (5x 1hr lesson) per week- Able to commit at least 6 months from the date of joining- You do not necessarily need to have experience, teaching experience will be a bonus**Remuneration: SGD$20/hr****Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance, Student jobContract length: 6 monthsPart-time hours: 5 per week**Salary**: RM60.00 per hour**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Work from homeSchedule:- Flexible hours**Experience**:- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
